Nurse Manager for F-Yellow

Nadine joined University Hospital full-time in 1999. A 1984 graduate of Villanova University, Nadine put her Bachelors of Science in Nursing to work on Long Island, NY for nine years where she focused on critical care. In 1998, she took a job as an agency nurse and was assigned to University Hospital. When a full-time position opened up in the recovery room a year later, Nadine jumped at the chance. She became F-Yellow’s nurse manager in early 2004.

"I took the agency position because I literally wanted to get my foot in the door at University Hospital. The opportunity allowed me to work in all different units and see how each area of the hospital functioned. I knew this was the place for me, by the end of the year I had learned so much and that was just one year."
