Ferne Bell-Woodley, RN, MPA
Nurse Manager for H-Blue
Ferne earned her BSN and MPA degrees
from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Her career included
stints as a staff nurse, nurse manager, diabetes nurse
specialist and patient care coordinator (nursing supervisor)
before becoming the nurse manager of H-Blue.
"University Hospital always
attracted me as a nurse. I started at this facility
in the mid 80’s. When I left to explore other
facilities, I knew I would return to UH. University
Hospital offers a wide range of opportunities and advancement.
It embraces cultural diversity and growth. The most
rewarding part of my job is that my patients mean as
much to me today as they did when I was a student nurse."
